Years ago I found a great wreath base at a garage sale. It had some old decorations on it, but those were easy enough to remove. I also had some cheap faux hydrangeas (that I almost got rid of several times) and some basic burlap fabric. After gathering some "Pin-spiration"...
...I finally made my beautiful wreath!
It was super simple to make. First I cut the flowers, leaving a small stem to glue and stick in between the vines. Then I arranged all the pieces to make sure I liked the placement. Once I was sure of the layout I used hot glue to stick the flowers and leaves to the wreath base. Finally I tied a big burlap bow, glued it on, and added a twine loop for hanging. The whole project took about an hour, but only because I was engrossed in one of my favorite shows at the same time!
I smile every time I come and go from the house, surely a sign of a successful project!
If you happen to make a wreath of your own, leave a reply with a link to your project. I'd love to see what you create!
